Yes, you read it right–they accepted our offer on the latest house!  When I made the announcement to the kids they responded with whoops, hollers, hoorays and screams.  Can we say excited?  😉  It doesn’t even seem real right now.

We may not be able to move into the house until mid-March, depending on how things go with the lady who is living there right now.  The city says we have to live there (it was only open to owner-occupants), but she may not be very willing to find a new place.  I guess we’ll just wait and see what happens.

The house has a parking slab in the back and virtually no yard, so we will have to go to the park when the kids need to blow off steam.  It’s also very close to a high school, and our realtor told us that during the high schoolers’ lunch break the street is lined with food trucks.  I think I might have to go out there and grab some lunch, too!

That’s all for now.  There’s a light at the end of the tunnel of waiting!

SOOO excited for you guys!!! I’m hollering over here too 🙂 I’ve been thinking of y’all since reading your last post — I can only imagine how frustrating and discouraging your circumstances have been. Waiting is never easy, and waiting in cramped quarters that are mostly not your own is super-hard. Can’t wait to hear more about the new digs! Love you guys muchos!!!

Thanks Lisa! Yeah, you guys have gone through your fair share of waiting over the years, too. It’s certainly a relief to exit that stage.
